Watching my old man, I knew I would have a Fibes kit too. I grew up watching my dad play a clear set of acrylic Fibes drums in church and I always thought they were so cool. This was my first professional drum set purchase. This is an amazingly in-depth look at the life of one of the most swinging rock drummers that ever sat behind the kit. And even though it was necessary, they truly were the ones that got away. Mitch Mitchell was a successful child star on BBC before he ever became a drummer, then he changed gears to become a drummer full time and had a gold record with Jimi Hendrix by the time he was 20.
